My Sisters' Wedding

Hey it's Lydia!

So as no surprise to me, my sisters (Jane and Elizabeth) are following in my footsteps and getting married to Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy. They're having a joint wedding and yeah that will save my parents money, but that is so dumb. I wouldn't want to have a joint wedding. It's MY day and I'd rather not have to share it with someone else. Oh well. I guess I'm happy for them, after all they are my sisters. I still think that they are jealous of me, but I'm not bitter. I wish them the best of luck in their marriages.

I'm Getting Married!!

Hey it's Lydia!

If you couldn't already tell by the title of this post.. I'M GOING TO GET MARRIED!!! Soon my name will be Lydia Wickham and I could not be more ecstatic. Mr. Wickham is a lovely man and I am so excited to elope with him. He's a man in uniform and you know that I looove that. I'll be the first Bennet daughter to get married.. So take that Jane!! Apparently what I'm doing isn't considered 'appropriate' or 'decent' but I think that is foolish. I'm like a modern day transcendentalist, making new waves for girls growing up. They should follow in MY footsteps. I love my husband and that's all that matters.

Your blushing bride,

Out

Hey it's Lydia!

I've always known that I was mama's favorite. We're practically the same. She started showing me off at balls and public events waaaay before she let any of my other sisters. So obviously she loves me the most. Lady Catherine doesn't agree and says that I should have stayed home until Jane and Lizzy were married and out of the house. That's so dumb, mom knows what's best for me and Catherine needs to shut up and mind her own business. Gosh.

Shopping Spree

Hey it's Lydia!

Kitty and I spent all day wandering around the shops. It was the most amazing day. It was full of gossip, shopping and boys. What could be better than that? When we were all home, I immediately showed my family my new haul of clothes. I showed them this bonnet I got and they absolutely HATED it. I mean it was the best of the options in the store... So what if it's not that cute? I also offered to buy clothes for them. They have to give me their money of course. I already had spent all of mine. We had bought so many goodies that the carriage was filled to the brim! And rather uncomfortable, but I guess beauty is pain. And beauty attracts all of the officers, which was definitely the highlight of my day.

Who doesn't want to get married?

Hey it's Lydia!

AND OH MY GOD I AM SO MAD AT LIZZY!!! WHO DOESN'T SAY YES TO A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL?! Mr. Collins is a nice, respectable man. All mama every wanted for us was to be married with financial stability. It's literally all she wanted for us and Elizabeth has to ruin her dream. Dad's an idiot too. He's the one who told her to marry for love. Well, I think that's some hogwash.  She needs to be treated the same as the rest of us. Who cares if your "smarter" or more refined. IT DOESN'T MATTER. IT MATTERS THAT YOU ARE BENNET AND YOU LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!

Royally pissed off,

Let's go to a Ball

Hey it's Lydia!

If you know anything  about me at all, it't that I LOVE flirting with boys. And where is there any place better to do that than a dance? Apparently some rich guy is coming to town with his friend and has mama all up in a bustle. It's not like I would ever get to dance with them, they're only for Jane and Elizabeth since they're the oldest and "most mature" girls. Whatever, I'll have more fun anyway. There's going to be so many guys in uniform that Jane and Lizzy won't know what they're missing. So, HA, joke's on them.
